Mailbox Monday October 1

It's Monday and time for another Mailbox Monday post. This month Mailbox Monday will be hosted by Mailbox Monday, where it all began!

Not sure what is going on with my blog layout today. It was fine when I went to bed last night. When I woke up this morning, everything was askew. My sidebars are at the bottom of my layout but when I go to change the layout, it shows them in the correct place. Blogger is driving me nuts today! I will see what it looks like when I get home from work tonight.

I am excited about the books in my mailbox this week. One is a win, one is a purchase, and three are for review. One is for a TLC Book Tour.

The Letters by Luanne Rice and Joseph Monninger (this was a purchase)

Things Remembered by Georgia Bockoven (this is for a TLC Book Tour on Wednesday, October 17th)

The Painted Girls by Cathy Marie Buchanan(courtesy of Riverhead Books)

The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton(courtesy of Atria Book Galley Alley)

The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani
(won from Leah at Amused By Books. Thank You, Leah!)

That is what came to my home. What wonderful books made their way into your home?

  1. Your layout looks fine to me. It looks like you're in for some good reading!

  2. Blog layout looks good to me too. All your reads sound lovely. I've heard good things about The Shoemaker's Wife. Enjoy!

  3. The Shoemaker's Wife I'm sure you will enjoy!

  4. Everything looks good - I want to read Kate Morton's book. Her Forgotten Garden is one of my all- favorite books.

The Painted Girls and The Letters looks quite good as well.

    Enjoy your books.

Hope you can stop by my blog to read my post about the book conference I attended in New York City this past Saturday.

A giveaway is also directly below my Mailbox Monday post.

    Silver’s Reviews

  5. Nice collection of books, Beth! I'm eager to read The Letters.

  6. That has happened to my blog before and it is caused by a post photo that is too wide. It is frustrating though. I feel your pain as it drove me nuts when it happened until I finally found the solution. Good luck with it.

  7. Nice books! I wasn't aware that Cathy Buchanan had a new book.

  8. Nice selection of books. The Shoemaker's Wife was fantastic, one of my favorites this year.

The sidebar on the blog looked fine when I visited tonight.

  9. Hope you are doing well with the read-a-thon I am here to cheer you on...Go Go Go!!! #cheertamales

    1. Thank you Rayna! I am just now starting! I slept in this morning!
