A Life Update
I was trying to get the blog up and running again but sometimes life takes a turn and things don't go as planned. My mom, who is 88, was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. She had a biopsy on February 14, which did not go as planned. She ended up having to have a tracheotomy. She is responding well to treatment and we are hopeful. I will try to pop in now and then but with work and taking care of mom, there isn't much spare time these days. My mom is my best friend in the world so I try to spend as much time with her as I can. Thank you for bearing with me!

I'm so sorry to hear that. Forget about the internet right now and concentrate on your mom. Every moment with her is precious.
ReplyDeleteIt is a blessing that she has you to care for her. Life demands you right now. We understand.
ReplyDeleteOh Beth, I'm so sorry. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and her that she keeps responding well. I'm an email away if you need to chat. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI am so, so sorry to hear this. I'm sending prayers for mom ... and for you, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update, Beth. I hope your mom continues to respond well to treatment. Your blog will always be there and you can easily pick up where you left off, but your mom can't wait. She needs you now. I work with seniors and sometimes they have no one to help them because their children live far. So glad your mom has you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, but I'm glad she's responding to the treatment. What a blessing that you can be with her.
ReplyDeleteBeth, your mom and you are in my thoughts. Forget about blogging, etc - what you're doing is so much more important.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself and your Mom, Beth. Sending healthy thoughts to your Mom . . .
ReplyDeleteOh, Beth!! So sorry to hear about this but I'm praying that all is well and that your mom recovers quickly from this!! Thoughts and prayers are coming your way!
ReplyDeleteYour mom is so much more important than the internet, and we'll all be here when you're able to blog again. I hope your mom continues to respond to treatment. You're all in my thoughts and prayers!
