Mailbox Monday July 12
Mailbox Monday is a meme where you can post what books came into your home during the week. It is hosted by Marcia over at The Printed Page. Go on over and check it out. Mailbox Monday will be going on a blog tour. Every month a different blog will be hosting Mailbox Monday. Sounds like fun, right? You can check out the schedule on The Printed Page.
Um...my name is Beth and I am a bookaholic! No review books this week for me but I did buy some books online that were on sale and they came last week! I also bought two books used. I may need an intervention!
These are the used books I bought (both were in pretty bad shape and they needed a home):
1.Return to Summerhouse by Jude Deveraux
2.Three Plums in One by Janet Evanovich
The rest I bought on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. They had some pretty great markdowns on these books and almost all of them were on my wish list from visiting other book blogs! It's a vicious cycle!
3.Holly's Inbox by Holly Denham
4.Between Georgia by Joshilyn Jackson
5.Velva Jean Learns to Drive by Jennifer Niven
6.Happiness Key by Emilie Richards
7.Gods in Alabama by Joshilyn Jackson
8.Life's A Beach by Claire Cook
9.Thanks For The Memories by Cecelia Ahern
10.Very Valetine by Adriana Trigiani
11.The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff
12.American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld
So what wonderful books came to your home? I am now off to visit more mailboxes where I will find more to put on my wish list, no doubt!

What a sweet haul!!! The first step is admitting your addiction, but does it matter if this is one addiction we don't want to lose? Ha!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books!
My mailbox is HERE.
Great stack of books. I've read several and really liked them. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYup, an intervention is definitely called for! Lol, enjoy all your new books. I loved Very Valentine.
ReplyDeleteLots of good books in that pile...will wait for your reviews to see which ones go on my tbr list.

Nice mailbox! The 19th Wife is on my list and I'd like to read Trigiani someday. Here's my Mailbox. Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteThese all sound great. Dont you just love used books! I get some of the best loot in my used bookstores for a fraction of the price.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy all of your reads this week. Thanks for passing by today. I really appreciated.
Oh my gosh, I see lots of great titles in there - Holly's Inbox, Gods in Alabama, Very Valentine - I could go on and on! Enjoy your treasures!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to resist when a book on your wishlist is on sale at a good price! Enjoy your wonderful stash.
ReplyDeleteTons of great books!! It's always so much fun to get great deals! I loved Holly's Inbox and the Plum series! Enjoy them all and have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteLook at all that great loot! You are going to have so much fun reading all of those great books! I have read some of them and loved them and some of the others I also have in my TBR stack so fun times ahead!
ReplyDeleteHey, books are a cheaper addiction than cats and a lot easier on the waist...
ReplyDeleteSomeone was talking to me about how great Joshilyn Jackson's books are. I've read gods in Alabama and got Backseat Saints last week... if you want to swap yours for mine, holler! I'd totally do that. (plus it gives me a reason to read it that much sooner!)
Love Evanovich and have started collecting her Stephanie Plum books as I'm going along. Found some on sale and will have to start them soon.
ReplyDeleteNice Loot! Have a great time reading these and come on by Aisle B for some cherry tequilas for our Mailbox Monday fest :)
You bought some great books there! The only one I've read is Holly's Inbox. It was cute and a perfect summer read.
ReplyDeleteYou bought a lot of terrific books. I would love to read Gods in Alabama (loved the Girl Who Stopped Swimming). I think Jackson has a bit of Flannery O'Connor in her & is always interesting to read.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books
Wow! So many books to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI only got a few: http://suko95.blogspot.com/2010/07/mailbox-monday-im-back.html
That is THE most GEORGOUS stack of books!!!!! And HOLLY'S INBOX is one I have wanted to read for ages and forgot all about it! Now I am going to go and immediately order it. Perfect for summer!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books. Two review books for me this week. Pussreboots.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorite authors: Evanovich and Richards... enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYes yes, I am in the same recovery group "Bookoholics" LOL
ReplyDeleteQuite a haul!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Holly's Inbox; I hope you do, too. As for the intervention, well, I think there are a lot worse things you could be doing besides acquiring books. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great pile of books! Holly's Inbox is great! Enjoy!
